Proceso de recuperación de aceites lubricantes
usados con arcilla y centrifugación.
Un proceso para la recuperación de aceite
lubricantes usados y aceites recuperados usando el proceso. En una
primera modalidad (para uso en aceites industriales), el aceite
lubricante mezclado con arcilla en un reactor. La mezcla es
preferiblemente calentada entre una temperatura entre 80 y 200ºC
presentes en el aceite usado. La temperatura de uso no debería
alcanzar más de 150ºC para evitar el "cracking" del aceite, es
decir la ruptura de las cadenas moleculares. Después de un cierto
periodo de tiempo, se bombea la mezcla hacia un filtro, donde se
forma una torta, la cual retiene la arcilla con los contaminantes
adsorbidos, mientras que el aceite sale libre de contaminantes.
Una segunda modalidad (para remover hollín o
cenizas, es decir, partículas muy finas de carbón, y otros
compuestos orgánicos provenientes de los aceites usados de los
motores de explosión) es la misma que en la primera modalidad,
excepto que antes que la mezcla sea pasada a través de los filtros,
esta se centrifuga para separar el aceite contaminado con arcilla y
hollín, asegurando así que los filtros no se bloquearan.
