A la vista de las figuras reseñadas, concretamente de la figura 1, se observa como el método de cultivo que se preconiza consiste en dotar a las cuerdas de la estructura (1) de la batea, que se mantiene sobre el agua mediante flotadores (2), de un movimiento cíclico (3), con dos tramos rectilíneos, paralelos y sustancialmente próximos que recorren toda la longitud de la batea, en dirección paralela a la corriente de agua, por ejemplo con el sentido de movimiento representado por las flechas (5) en dicha figura 1.
