Description

The present invention relates to the conditioning and application devices of a product, in particular a cosmetic product, including those for treatment, comprising a draining member.

A makeup set according to the preamble of claims 1 and 2 is known from the French patent FR 2 562 773.

European Patent EP 0 728 426 B1 describes a device for distributing a liquid or pasty product, which comprises a draining member that is provided with several longitudinal grooves made in a central part in the form of an internal bull portion.

It is also known from the European patent EP 0627 182 B1 a set of application of a fluid product, in particular a cosmetic product, comprising a two-stage draining member consisting of two pieces, of which one is covered with flock fibers .

There is a need to further improve the conditioning and application devices of a product and in particular to benefit from a draining member capable of successfully draining a wide variety of application elements, in particular application elements having a cross section not circulate

There is also a need to have a draining member that can be easily mounted on the corresponding container.

A subject of the invention is a device for conditioning and applying a product, in particular for treatment or make-up, according to claims 1 and 2.

Thanks to the invention, the draining member is capable of easily deforming the passage of the application element, without losing its ability to drain it.

A slot defines two sectors arranged on either side of it. Two adjacent sectors separated by a groove thus have facing faces whose separation defines the width of the groove. When the crossing of the draining organ takes place, the application element can come into contact with these facing faces, which can contribute to the draining, and this as much or more when its surface is large. The conditioning and application device 1 shown in Figure 1, comprises a container 2 crowned by an X-axis neck 8, open at its upper end and which may contain a cosmetic product P, such as a lip gloss for example.

A draining member 3 made of an elastically deformable material, for example a thermoplastic elastomer, is applied on the container 2, and fixed on it for example thanks to a friction coupling on the neck 8. Of course, the draining member 3 it could be otherwise fixed on the container 2, for example by gluing, welding or crimping, or by means of a supplementary maintenance piece.

The device 1 further comprises an applicator 4 comprising, in the illustrated example, a closure cap 5 on which a rod 6 is fixed, at the free end of which an application element 7 is present which can be of any type.

The draining member 3 has, at the bottom, a split annular part 12, which is provided at its end with a strip 13 that forms radially over its outer surface.

In the illustrated example, the split portion 12 has a plurality of longitudinal grooves 14 extending parallel to the X axis to the free end 3a of the draining member 3, these grooves 14 being for example in number of eight. The grooves 14 extend in the illustrated example in less than half the height of the draining member 3, and also, always in this example, the grooves 14 extend in less than one third of the height of the draining organ.

Always in the described example, the outer cross section of the draining member is circular, as is its inner cross section. The inner diameter of the draining member 3 is substantially equal, at its narrowest part defined by the cleft part 12, to the outer diameter of the shank 6. In the illustrated example, the grooves 14 are distributed regularly on the contour of the cleft part 12 and the sectors 15 are of equal angular extent.

However, the frame of the present invention is not removed when the grooves 14 are irregularly distributed in the contour of the split part 12.

The application element 7 is in the example considered coated with a flocking coating and has a general flattened shape. Its cross section is not oblongly circular with a larger dimension greater than the diameter of the stem 6, for example by a factor of at least 1.5, even at least 2.

The passage of the application element 7 through the split part 12 is illustrated in Figures 4 and 5. The sectors 15 flex so as to allow the split part 12 to substantially fit the shape of the application element 7 to the passage thereof. , which provides effective draining.

The grooves are in the illustrated example made on a part of the draining member that extends along it and that is such that the internal cross-section of the draining member in this part is less than or equal to the largest cross-section of the element of application 7.

The application element 7 can also be partially drained by the faces 14a and 14b facing at least one slot 14, in particular at the level of the weatherstrip 13, as can be seen in Figure 5.

In particular, the thickness of the cleft part 12 may be such that the application element 7 does not exceed the outer contour of the draining member 3, is masked therein and is drained in the thickness of the grooves 14 when its passage takes place through the draining organ.

The faces 14a and 14b are therefore more apt to participate in the draining since they are able to come into contact with the application element 7. If necessary, the product can be retained between them by capillarity. The relatively large thickness of the wall of the cleft part 12, in particular at the level of the weatherstrip 13, allows faces 14a and 14b to be obtained that have a relatively important surface, therefore suitable for contributing to the draining of the application element 7 and for collecting the product P by capillarity.

Given the elasticity of the draining member 3, once the application element 7 has passed through the split part 12, the grooves 14 are closed again, the

sectors 15 again substantially in contact with each other.

The draining member 3 can have a cleft part 12 devoid of the weatherstrip 13 but which retains a relatively thick wall and which is presented, for example, in the form of a cone trunk whose outer cross-section decreases into the container. A draining organ 3 of this type is represented in figure 6. In this figure, the draining organ 3 has a downward internal cross-section downwards, to the free end 3a of the draining organ.

The wall thickness of the draining member 3 can be between 0.5 mm and 8 mm, even between 0.8 mm and 6 mm, for example between 1.2 mm and 6 mm.

The outer cross section of the draining member 3 can also be increased by the presence, on the outer part of the sectors 15, of axial ribs 19 that remain in extension of the faces 14a and 14b of the grooves 14, as illustrated in Figures 7 and 8.

The draining member 3 can be constituted by a single piece, as described above, or by two pieces assembled together.

This is in particular the case of the draining members 3 represented in Figures 7 to 14, which are constituted by a fixing part 17 made of a relatively rigid material such as a polyolefin and a part applied to the fixing part 17 comprising the split part 12, this part being made of a more flexible material than that of the fixing part 17, a thermoplastic elastomer for example.

The fixing part 17 and the part comprising the split part 12 can be fixed together in different ways, in particular being glued, welded, crimped or assembled by means of a supplementary part. The part comprising the split part 12 fits for example around the fixing part 17 as illustrated in figure 9 or inside the fixing part 17, as illustrated in figure 10,

or also on horseback on the fixing part 17 as illustrated in Figure 11.

In FIG. 12, the fixing part 17 and the part comprising the split part 12 are mechanically assembled by means of a fastener, the fixing part 17 presenting a weatherstrip 20, the piece comprising the split part 12 having a throat 21 intended to receive the weatherstrip 20.

The fixing part 17 and the split part 12 can also be made integral with one another by overmolding, the piece having the split part 12 being for example biinjected onto the fixing part 17, as illustrated in Figure 13. In this example, the part comprising the split part 12 starts to cover the inside of the fixing part 17.

The cleft part 12 of the draining member 3 may have ribs 22 arranged substantially in the center of the outer part of the sectors 15, which may allow a greater stiffness of the cleft part 12, as illustrated in Figures 14 and

The part comprising the split portion 12 may be provided, as illustrated in Figure 16, with an annular outer skirt 29 extending around the split portion 12, this outer skirt 29 being in particular intended to retain the product.

In Figure 27, another conditioning and application device intended for the application of an eyeliner has been depicted. The stem 6 of the applicator 4 comprises a narrowed portion 6a of lower cross section than the inner cross section of the split part 12, so as to avoid deformation of the resting sectors 15 and to facilitate evacuation of the induced overpressure inside of the container 2 when the applicator 4 is introduced into the container.

In Fig. 28, the fixing part 17 of the draining member 3 comprises an annular skirt 35 which is covered by a lip 36 made in the upper part of the neck 8. The maintenance of the draining member 4 is thus improved.

In Fig. 29, the draining member 3 is made with a neck, on which the closing cap 5 can be threaded for example.

In the example of Figure 2, each slot 14 has facing faces 14a and 14b that are essentially parallel and set at rest.

Of course, the grooves 14 can be made in another way and in particular made with facing faces 14a and 14b that are not parallel at rest, which diverge radially outward, as illustrated in Figure 30.

In this figure, it is seen that at least one groove 14 of the split part 12 has a width that grows outwards. This may allow for example to cover the faces 14a and 14b more easily with a flocking coating 40, which can still improve the performance of the draining member.
