El tejido antivandálico (1) comprende una capa superior (2) y una capa inferior (3), comprendiendo la capa superior (2) hilos de fibra natural o artificial y la capa inferior (3) hilos metálicos (3a, 3b), y es caracterizado por el hecho de que dichos hilos metálicos (3a, 3b) de la capa inferior (3) están tejidos con los hilos de la capa superior (2), pudiendo comprender la capa inferior (3) hilos de fibra natural o artificial tejidos con los hilos metálicos (3a, 3b). El porcentaje de hilos metálicos (3a, 3b) respecto al total de hilos presentes en la capa inferior (3) está comprendido entre el 10% y el 80%. El tejido antivandálico de la presente invención presenta una gran resistencia al corte y, al mismo tiempo, es muy flexible.

Description

Tejido antivandálico.
La presente invención se refiere a un tejido antivandálico, que se puede utilizar para tapizar asientos para vehículos de transporte público o privado, para locales públicos o cualquier otra aplicación adecuada.
Antecedentes de la invención
Actualmente se conocen diferentes tipos de tejidos antivandálicos, cuya principal característica es su gran resistencia al corte.
Estos tejidos antivandálicos pueden utilizarse en asientos para vehículos de transporte público o privado, en locales públicos, como por ejemplo en cines y teatros, o en el textil del hogar, como por ejemplo en toldos.
Un tipo de estos tejidos antivandálicos comprende una capa superior que se pega a una capa inferior formada por hilos metálicos. Este tipo de tejido presenta el inconveniente de que es muy rígido, siendo muy complicada su posterior manipulación, por ejemplo para tapizar un asiento. Esto es debido principalmente al hecho de que se utilizan hilos metálicos con un diámetro entre 0,5 y 0,6 mm.
En algunos casos, estos hilos metálicos puede sustituirse por hilos de un material plástico muy duro. Sin embargo, la utilización de este material plástico no soluciona el problema de la rigidez del tejido ni de resistencia al vandalismo.
Otro inconveniente que presentan los tejidos antivandálicos es que su fabricación es costosa, ya que se ha de fabricar por separado la capa inferior y la capa superior y posteriormente se han de unir entre sí.
Descripción de la invención
Con el tejido de la invención se consiguen resolver los inconvenientes citados, presentando otras ventajas que se describirán.
El tejido antivandálico de la presente invención comprende una capa superior y una capa inferior, comprendiendo la capa superior hilos de fibra natural o artificial y la capa inferior hilos metálicos, y se caracteriza por el hecho de que dichos hilos metálicos de la capa inferior están tejidos con los hilos de la capa superior.
Preferentemente, la capa inferior también comprende hilos de fibra natural o artificial tejidos con los hilos metálicos, estando comprendido el porcentaje de hilos metálicos respecto al total de hilos presentes en la capa inferior entre el 10% y el 80%.
Dichos hilos metálicos son preferentemente de acero inoxidable, acero al carbono o cobre.
Ventajosamente, el diámetro de cada hilo metálico está comprendido entre 0,05 mm y 0,35 mm.
Dichos hilos metálicos pueden estar tejidos con los hilos de la capa superior mediante calada, doble calada, jacquard, doble jacquard o a la plana.
Además, los hilos metálicos de la capa inferior están tramados en trama y urdimbre.
Si se desea, dichos hilos metálicos pueden estar recubiertos, preferentemente mediante hilos de algodón o lana.
El tejido antivandálico de la presente invención presenta una gran resistencia al corte y, al mismo tiempo, es muy flexible, facilitando su manipulación y el tapizado de asientos de vehículos de transporte público.
Otra ventaja del tejido de la presente invención es que forma una barrera contra el fuego.
Además, el tejido de la presente invención puede fabricarse con un coste reducido, comparado con los tejidos antivandálicos conocidos actualmente, ya que las capas superior e inferior no se han de pegar después de su fabricación, sino que el tejido entre ambas se realiza durante su fabricación.
Breve descripción de los dibujos
Para mejor comprensión de cuanto se ha expuesto se acompañan unos dibujos en los que, esquemáticamente y tan sólo a título de ejemplo no limitativo, se representa un caso práctico de realización.
La figura 1 es una vista esquemática en perspectiva del tejido de la presente invención, estando la capa superior retirada parcialmente; y
La figura 2 es una vista en planta esquemática de los hilos metálicos que forman la capa inferior.
Descripción de una realización preferida
Tal como se puede apreciar en la figura 1, el tejido antivandálico de la presente invención, identificado en general mediante la referencia numérica 1, está formado por dos capas, una capa superior 2 y una capa inferior 3 tejidas entre sí.
La capa superior 2 es convencional y está formada por hilos de fibras naturales o artificiales, mientras que la capa inferior 3 comprende hilos metálicos 3a, 3b e hilos de fibras naturales o artificiales (no representados en la figura 2).
Debe indicarse que dichas capas están tejidas entre sí, es decir, los hilos metálicos 3a, 3b también están tejidos con los hilos de la capa superior 2.
Los hilos metálicos están tramados en trama 3a y urdimbre 3b, tal como se puede apreciar en la figura 2.
El porcentaje de hilos metálicos 3a, 3b respecto al total de hilos presentes en la capa inferior 3 está comprendido entre el 10% y el 80%, dependiendo las características que se deseen conseguir.
Dichos hilos metálicos 3a, 3b pueden ser de acero inoxidable, acero al carbono o cobre, aunque preferiblemente serán de acero inoxidable.
El diámetro de cada hilo metálico 3a, 3b está comprendido entre 0,05 mm y 0,35 mm, es decir, son de un diámetro inferior a los hilos metálicos habituales utilizados en tejidos antivandálicos, que suele ser de 0,5-0,6 mm.
Dichos hilos metálicos 3a, 3b están tejidos con los hilos de la capa superior 2 de cualquier manera adecuada, como por ejemplo mediante calada, doble calada, jacquard, doble jacquard o a la plana.
Si se desea, dichos hilos metálicos 3a, 3b pueden estar recubiertos, por ejemplo mediante hilos de algodón o lana.
Como se ha dicho anteriormente, el tejido de la presente invención es muy flexible, comparado con los tejidos antivandálicos convencionales, y forma una barrera contra el fuego.
A pesar de que se ha hecho referencia a una realización concreta de la invención, es evidente para un experto en la materia que el tejido antivandálico descrito es susceptible de numerosas variaciones y modificaciones, y que todos los detalles mencionados pueden ser substituidos por otros técnicamente equivalentes, sin apartarse del ámbito de protección definido por las reivindicaciones adjuntas.

Claims (9)

1. Tejido antivandálico (1), que comprende una capa superior (2) y una capa inferior (3), comprendiendo la capa superior (2) hilos de fibra natural o artificial y la capa inferior (3) hilos metálicos (3a, 3b), caracterizado por el hecho de que dichos hilos metálicos (3a, 3b) de la capa inferior (3) están tejidos con los hilos de la capa superior (2).
2. Tejido antivandálico (1) según la reivindicación 1, caracterizado por el hecho de que la capa inferior (3) también comprende hilos de fibra natural o artificial tejidos con los hilos metálicos (3a, 3b).
3. Tejido antivandálico (1) según la reivindicación 2, caracterizado por el hecho de que el porcentaje de hilos metálicos (3a, 3b) respecto al total de hilos presentes en la capa inferior (3) está comprendido entre el 10% y el 80%.
4. Tejido antivandálico (1) según la reivindicación 1, caracterizado por el hecho de que dichos hilos metálicos (3a, 3b) son de acero inoxidable, acero al
carbono o cobre.
5. Tejido antivandálico (1) según la reivindicación 1 ó 4, caracterizado por el hecho de que el diámetro de cada hilo metálico (3a, 3b) está comprendido entre 0,05 mm y 0,35 mm.

7. Tejido antivandálico (1) según la reivindicación 1, caracterizado por el hecho de que los hilos metálicos de la capa inferior están tramados en trama (3a) y urdimbre (3b).
8. Tejido antivandálico (1) según la reivindicación 1, 4 ó 5, caracterizado por el hecho de que dichos hilos metálicos (3a, 3b) están recubiertos.
9. Tejido antivandálico según la reivindicación 8, caracterizado por el hecho de que dichos hilos metálicos (3a, 3b) están recubiertos mediante hilos de algodón o lana.
