Mezclador de agua caliente y fría de tipo monocomando, constituido por un cuerpo que define un conducto de entrada de agua caliente y un conducto de entrada de agua fría que desembocan en una cámara de mezcla que comunica con la boca de salida de agua, conteniendo dicha cámara. de mezcla un mezclador accionable por medio de un órgano de mando, entre una posición de cierre, una posición de abertura para agua caliente o agua fría y una posición de mezcla, que se caracteriza por estar constituido de un disco fijo de material cerámico que tiene una primera y una segunda aberturas que comunican con el conducto de entrada de agua fría y de agua caliente, y un bloque móvil también: en material cerámico, que tiene una superficie plana que desliza estanca contra una cara plana de dicho disco, teniendo dicho bloque una cavidad, abierta hacia dicha superficie plana y hacia su superficie lateral, que define un paso a la cámara de mezcla, para el agua de dichos conductos de entrada; siendo la anchura dedicha cavidad mayor que la distancia entre.las aberturas del disco en material cerámico, para comunicar con una, con la otra o con ambas aberturas de dicho disco.
