Abstract

A dielectric liquid, for use in electrical apparatus such as transformers, capacitors and cables comprises mineral oil, a minor proportion of 8-hydroxy-quinoline and 0.1-0.5 per cent by weight of 2,4-di-tert.-butyl-4-methyl-phenol.
