Para conseguir la unión resistente y duradera de los distintivos en la caja-estuche, es preferible colocarlos en el molde antes del moldeo de la caja, alojando la estructura de los distintivos en los entrantes o rebajes descritos anteriormente de manera que los puentes de unión de los elementos constitutivos de los distintivos queden embebidos en la masa de las paredes laterales de la caja-estuche, en tanto en cuanto que las partes alojadas en los rebajes quedan sobresalientes respecto de las superficies de dichas caras laterales una vez que la pieza acabada es extraída del molde.
