Un procedimiento para obtener y asegurar la hermeticidad entre las llantas de montaje y los talones de los neumáticos sin cámara de aire, caracterizado esencialmente por el hecho de emplear una guarnición constituida por un cuerpo anular de mezcla de goma, de una sección transversal cualquiera, que es colocada sin adhesivos en la llanta de montaje, en cada zona de unión entre la base de la llanta, sobre la cual se apoya el talón del neumático, y la correspondiente pestaña de la propia llanta, con el fin de impedir el paso del aire del interior del neumático hacia el exterior al través de las superficies en contacto del talón y de la pestaña de la llanta.
