Abstract

The process for the preparation of cattle-raising sub-products comprises the addition of a correction product, such as sodic alginate, to food and drinking water of stabled cattle. This results in the reduction of undigested nutritional constituents and of the emissions of contaminatory gases. The proportion of the product added to the fodder in a solid or powdered state is of the order of 10 to 15 per cent and to the drinking water of the order of 5 to 10 per cent.

Description

Procedimiento para el acondicionamiento de subproductos ganaderos.Procedure for conditioning livestock by-products

Campo de la invenciónField of the Invention

The present invention relates to a procedure for the conditioning of livestock by-products, such as slurry, manure, chicken manure and the like.

The new procedure allows to manipulate and eliminate the by-products mentioned without aggression to the environment atmosphere and without most of the inconvenience that those operations produce the personnel in charge of its realization.

Antecedentes de la invenciónBackground of the invention

The serious problem posed by the generation of by-products constituted by the droppings of animals on livestock farms, particularly those of pig, horse and poultry.

The elimination of the aforementioned by-products in order to the forecast of serious damage to the environment results difficult and expensive, both for the characteristics of the operations necessary for the treatment and transformation of those substances such as the cost of transport and handling.

In the current state of the art there is no no procedure that is fully satisfactory and economic in order to solve problems mentioned.

Descripción de la invenciónDescription of the invention

The procedure to be described, aimed at reduce the unwanted quantity and quality of depositions of animals, especially livestock farms, consists of decrease the percentage of remains of nutritional elements not digested and deposited in the collecting containers of the same, with a first direct capacity reduction effect contaminant of those materials. In addition, it decreases drastically (in proportions greater than 50%) the production collateral of undesirable gases, which contribute to the effect greenhouse and are the cause of bad odors.

The indicated objective is achieved by adding a product specific to food or drinking water of animals, influencing the bodily processes of the cattle that they give rise to the generation of the by-products in question.

The product mentioned is sodium alginate integral, natural active matter constituted by a polymer with high ion exchange capacity and that presents an interaction with the radicals ammonium, sulfates, mercaptans and other oligogases.  In addition, sodium alginate enhances fermentation processes aerobic in monogastric, both in the intestines of animals as in the slurry pit or Wednesday.

In certain cases, the use of alginate sodium is combined with that of other natural elements, such as algae biospecialized, which contribute to enhance positive action biodegradable from that one.

The preferred composition for the association of Sodium alginate to feed animals is as follows: for solids, a proportion of 10 to 15% by weight, and for the drinking water, a ratio of 50 to 80 grams of alginate per every 1000 cubic centimeters of water.

The association of alginate with food and / or Beef drink is verified by simple physical mixing, duly homogenized, of both products.

As a result of the conditioning of slurry and manure by means of sodium alginate should be mentioned The following effects:

Increase of microbiology in the deposits of those materials and in aerobic and anaerobic reactors, raising the capacity of flocculation, nitrification and denitrification Initially, a very important reduction of Ammoniacal nitrogen content in the supernatant water of slurry pits inside the reproduction, recreation or bait, greater than 50%. Precipitation of the fiber that serves as microbiology support that drags nitrogen in shape organic and almost all phosphorus to the flocculated phase or second phase, which is already easily machinable. Increase in proportion of bacterial nodules and their size, causing its precipitation and the formation of two strata defined in the slurry pit: one, surface liquid, and another gelled lower (flocculant), with the consequent increase in performance of separators, centrifuges and decanters. Apart the reduction of odors in origin, you have the gas of rot in pits, ships and collectors.
