Abstract

Procedimiento para la caracterización óptica de grandes espejos mediante el registro de la luz reflejada de una estrella. Mediante el registro con una cámara CCD de la luz de una estrella reflejada en el espejo, se determinan las componentes del vector normal al espejo en numerosos puntos. Para ello la cámara, situada en la región focal o región de concentración del espejo y apuntando hacia éste, toma imágenes del propio espejo registrando las zonas brillantes debidas a la reflexión de la luz de la estrella. Se describen varios métodos para conseguir fácilmente un gran número de imágenes y por tanto gran precisión en la caracterización. El método permite la caracterización óptica completa de cualquier espejo cuya distancia focal y tamaño sean mucho mayores que el diafragma de entrada de la cámara. En particular, para concentradores solares este método permite medir la distribución espacial de intensidad de luz en la región de concentración así como determinar errores de offset y comprobar la calidad del canteo en espejos con facetas.Procedure for the optical characterization of large mirrors by recording the reflected light of a star.
