Abstract

Estructura portante para pasarela o puente. La invención consiste en utilizar una membrana a tracción (1) para construir una pasarela o un puente (u otro elemento sometido a carga útil con el que deba salvarse un vano), a cuyo efecto dicha membrana es portante, es decir soporta las cargas gravitatorias de uso además de las cargas asociadas a su propio despliegue, haciéndolo con una deformabilidad limitada. Concretamente actúa como tablero o zona de paso (o carga) (4) e incorpora asimismo en ella zonas laterales (2) de transmisión de carga desde dicho tablero a elementos laterales y de soporte (6-7) a los que se fijan los bordes laterales de la membrana (1) y los puntos altos (3) de éstos, de manera que la membrana presenta un perfil longitudinal curvo de concavidad orientada hacia abajo, y un perfil transversal también curvo, pero de concavidad orientada hacia arriba, es decir dos curvaturas contrarias en direcciones ortogonales. El adecuado pretensado de la membrana (1) permite la circulación (o la simple carga) sobre ella sin deformaciones importantes.
