Abstract

The invention relates to a pair of self-fastening stockings which does not comprise a hip part, the purpose of which is to eliminate the hip part from panty-hose. The invention is characterised in that it comprises an upper belt/hoop-shaped part which can be adapted to the body. Moreover, two lateral bands are suspended from the aforementioned belt at the outer lateral area of the wearer's thighs, the width of said bands being equal to a fifth of the length of the circumference of an individual full-length stocking at the upper edge thereof. According to the invention, the two bands fall from the hoop/belt up to 2 or 3 cm below the lower part of the pubis and, at said height, the width of the two bands increases so as to form truncated cone-shaped elements with lower parts which extend to create an individual stocking for each leg and foot.
