Abstract
Un brazo refrigerado por agua para un precalentador de un tragante sujeta los materiales de metal en la cantidad requerida en un vientre instalado en el tragante para precalentar los materiales de metal introduciendo los gases de escape calientes generados en el horno al interior del vientre. El brazo refrigerado por agua está formado de un par de caras laterales, una placa superior y una placa inferior. La placa superior está fija a una parte superior de ambas partes laterales. La placa inferior se fija a una parte inferior de ambas partes laterales. El brazo refrigerado por agua se forma para que sea hueco como una pieza completa. Satisface al menos una de las condiciones de (A) el grosor de la placa superior es mayor que el de la placa inferior, (B) la placa inferior está formada con partes procesadas combadas en forma de R en ambos extremos de la misma y (C) la placa inferior está curvada hacia el exterior.
