Abstract

Aparato para sellar un elemento espaciador entre un par de substratos dentro de un conjunto vítreo aislado substancialmente rectangular (15) que tiene regiones marginales laterales, delantera y trasera, que comprende un par de substratos espaciados (13) y un elemento espaciador ligable (11) entre ellos, del tipo que comprende; (a) medios de apoyo (10, 12) para apoyar un conjunto que se ha de sellar; (b) medios transportadores (12, 125, 220) para transportar dicho conjunto vítreo aislado a lo largo de dichos medios de apoyo; y (c) medios aplicadores de energía zonal (30, 32, 40, 50, 200 y 210) para aplicar la energía localmente a zonas seleccionadas de dicho conjunto donde dicho elemento espaciador esté situado sin proporcionar energía directa al resto de dicho conjunto, comprendiendo dichos medios aplicadores de energía zonal un primer medio sellador (40, 50, y 200) para aplicar simultáneamente energía y presión a dichas regiones marginales delantera y trasera, comprendiendo dos pares de miembros opuestos espaciados todos móviles respecto de dichos medios de apoyo y un segundo medio sellador (30, 32, y 210) para aplicar simultáneamente energía y presión a las regiones laterales de dicho conjunto vítreo aislado caracterizado porque: dicho primer medio sellador está dispuesto para desplazarse con dicho conjunto vítreo aislado mientras se aplican energía y presión a él, estando dichos medios aplicadores de energía zonal dispuestos para llevar a cabo una secuencia de pasos sobre un conjunto que se transporta continuamente en donde la energía y presión se aplican en primer lugar a dicho borde delantero por uno primero de dichos pares de miembros móviles que se desplazan con dicho borde delantero (40L, 40R) mientras uno segundo de dichos pares de miembros móviles (50L, 50R) permanece estacionario, y un segundo paso en el que el segundo de dichos pares de miembros móviles aplica la energía y presión a dicho conjunto mientras se desplaza con dicho borde trasero.
