Abstract
El sistema utiliza como sensores detectores de la humedad o agua contenida en el suelo unos electrodos (1) de óxido semiconductor, materializados por sendas láminas delgadas de dióxido de estaño las cuales están conectadas a través de puntos de soldadura (3) y (4) a sendos cables (5) asociados a un circuito eléctrico apropiado. Tanto los cables (5) como las láminas constitutivas de los electrodos (1) están protegidas convenientemente contra ataques químicos para evitar el envejecimiento y degradación de los mismos. Mediante este sistema la medida de la humedad o contenido de agua en el suelo es directa puesto que se determina la conductividad del agua del suelo a través de la elección conveniente de la frecuencia de medida permitiendo en su conjunto su aplicación, de manera sencilla y eficaz, a un sistema de riego automático.
