Abstract

Instalación de postcombustión para aparatos generadores de efluentes con componentes orgánicos gaseosos. La instalación comprende una cámara de postcombustión directamente comunicada a la salida de gases del generador de efluentes con componentes orgánicos volátiles (VOC). Esta cámara de postcombustión es vertical y actúa de chimenea de salida de estos efluentes con VOC. La chimenea o cámara está revestida de material refractario y su parte inferior tiene un quemador de combustible líquido o gaseoso, que sirve para incrementar la temperatura de los gases a la salida del generador de efluentes, para llevarlos hasta los 850ºC que garantiza su combustión total. Además esta chimenea está dotada de una placa intermedia con múltiples orificios, que dividen el efluente en flujos distribuidos regularmente para que cualquier chorro de flujo está en contacto con las superficies de refractario a 850ºC. Estos gases son mezclados con aire ambiente y pasan por un ciclón.
