Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un sistema de transmisión de información desde una estación central tal como una central automática (1) hasta una estación periférica tal como un terminal de abonado (4). La estación central (1) está conectada del lado de la central a un convertidor analógico/digital bidireccional (7) a través de un convertidor central bidireccional analógico/digital (5) y de una línea analógica de transmisión (11). El convertidor bidireccional analógico digital (7) del lado de la central tiene su correspondiente entrada o salida conectada a un convertidor bidireccional analógico/digital (8) del lado de la estación periférica a traves de una línea de transmisión digital y de los interfaces asociados a los terminales de la línea. El convertidor bidireccional analógico/digital (8) está conectado por el lado de entrada o salida a la estación periférica a través de otra línea de transmisión analógica (3). La curva caracteristica del convertidor bidireccional analógico/digital(7) del lado de la central y la del convertidor bidireccional analógico/digital (8) de la estación periférica son lineales. La línea de transmisión consiste en una línea de transmisión de alta velocidad (12, 21, 31).
