Abstract

Horno de cocción de yeso y escayola de fuego directo y acción de cocción intermitente cíclica, constituido por dos tubos metálicos, uno exterior (2) y otro interior (3), ubicado un tubo (3) dentro de otro (2) de forma concéntrica, y comunicándose un tubo (2) con otro (3) por ambos extremos por medio de orificios y palas (21) adecuadas. Los dos tubos (2) y (3) se hallan provistos de espirales (18) montadas en sentido opuesto, de manera que al girar se genera un circuito cerrado del material pasando de un tubo a otro constantemente. El sentido de avance durante el proceso de cocción del tubo interior (3) es en dirección a la cámara de combustión (8), y el del tubo exterior (2) a la zona de carga del horno (1), situada en el extremo opuesto a la cámara de combustión (8).
