Abstract

Filtro cerámico, que comprende: un soporte de filtro alargado poroso, presentando dicho soporte una superficie externa, una abertura en un extremo que da entrada a un interior hueco definido en parte por una superficie interna, y un extremo cerrado opuesto a dicho extremo abierto, estando formado dicho soporte por una pluralidad de capas de hilo cerámico de óxido, estando dispuesta cada capa en una relación de entrelazamiento con capas vecinas para formar una pluralidad de aberturas en forma de cuadriláteros, estando revestido dicho hilo con un primer material cerámico de óxido, proporcionando dicho primer material cerámico de óxido, después de un tratamiento térmico, una matriz de soporte de óxido refractario poroso; y una capa de membrana porosa que está en contacto con la superficie externa o la superficie interna de dicho soporte, siendo dicha capa de membrana menos porosa que dicho soporte y comprendiendo por lo menos un hilo cerámico deóxido de filamento continuo circularmente arrollado, estando dicho hilo revestido con un segundo material cerámico de óxido, proporcionando dicho segundo material cerámico de óxido, después de un tratamiento térmico, una matriz de membrana de óxido refractario poroso, caracterizado porque arrollamientos adyacentes de dicho hilo cerámico definen una separación entre los mismos y el filtro comprende además por lo menos un material de relleno cerámico dispuesto en dicha separación y distribuido sustancialmente de modo uniforme en el mismo.
