Abstract

SE DESCRIBE UNA ENZIMA CAPAZ DE CATALIZAR LA ELIMINACION DE NITRITO DE TETRANITRATO DE PENTAERITRITOL (PETN). LA ENZIMA (CONOCIDA COMO ENZIMA PETN REDUCTASA) SE PRODUCE MEDIANTE EL CULTIVO DE UNA NUEVA CEPA DE LA BACTERIA ENTEROBACTER CLOACAE AISLADA DE LA NATURALEZA. LA CEPA DENOMINADA PB2 SE HA DEPOSITADO COMO NCIMB 40718. LA SECUENCIA DE AMINOACIDOS DE LA ENZIMA Y LA SECUENCIA GENETICA QUE CODIFICA PARA ESTA ENZIMA TAMBIEN HAN SIDO DETERMINADAS. SE DESCRIBE UNA ENZIMA PETN REDUCTASA CODIFICADA POR EL GEN ON. TAMBIEN SE DESCRIBE UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA PRODUCIR LA ENZIMA PETN REDUCTASA EN GRANDES CANTIDADES, Y PROCEDIMIENTOS DE BIOREMEDIACION QUE UTILIZAN LA ENZIMA PRODUCIDA DE ESTA FORMA. TAMBIEN SE DESCRIBE UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA DETECTAR LA PRESENCIA DE PETN EN UNA MUESTRA, JUNTO CON UN BIOSENSOR PARA SU UTILIZACION EN DICHO PROCEDMIENTO.
