Abstract

Illuminating device for warning when the accelerator pedal in a vehicle is not being operated, consisting of two equal and/or symmetrical lights (1) positioned either side of the central brake light (2) of a car so that these are activated as a signal to those outside that no pressure is being applied to the accelerator pedal. It is operated by an electrical circuit containing a switch (6) operated by a pressure-sensitive system relating to the accelerator, a safety fuse (5) and an interior telltale system of lights (8) synchronised with the outside lights (4) on the device. These are regulated by an electronic mechanism (7) and the whole unit powered by the battery on the vehicle (3). The device can also be used on trucks and motorcycles.<IMAGE>
