Esta invención se refiere a la producción de nanopartículas mediante un procedimiento que permite una distribución de tamaños de partícula estrecha y un tamaño de partícula regulable dentro de un rango 1 a 500 nm. En particular, la presente invención se aplica la obtención de nanopartículas magnéticas con dichas características. El procedimiento se basa en la preparación de geles de polímeros orgánicos que contienen iones metálicos susceptibles de formar compuestos ferro- y/o ferri-magnéticos in situ mediante precipitación espontánea o provocada por un agente externo.This invention relates to the production of nanoparticles by a method that allows a distribution of narrow particle sizes and an adjustable particle size within a range of 1 to 500 nm. In particular, the present invention applies to obtaining magnetic nanoparticles with said characteristics. The process is based on the preparation of organic polymer gels containing metal ions capable of forming ferro- and / or ferri-magnetic compounds in situ by spontaneous precipitation or caused by an external agent.
