Abstract
Improved crop dryer, of the type composed of a sealed area that includes a curing chamber, an engine room with at least one boiler, an upper plenum, and a lower plenum that is connected to the curing chamber using a drilled false floor through the curing chamber, air heated from the boiler(s) is circulated using a turbine, equipped with an air input from the outside in the engine room for the combustion of the boiler and some windows with retractable closures for outputting the air that circulates in the curing chamber, in which the combustion of the boiler is performed in the primary of an air/air exchanger the combustion gases are discharged to the outside by means of, at least one notably horizontal duct made from a heat conductor material that crosses the curing chamber and terminates in a vertical chimney it is equipped with a gas extractor which functions automatically before combustion during the transition time between said horizontal duct and the chimney. Through the secondary control of the air/air exchanger, the air in the curing chamber recirculates as it is drawn in by the turbine. The dryer has at least one curing air renewal duct that takes the air from the outside through, at least, one grid this duct crosses the curing chamber until it reaches the secondary control of the exchanger and is equipped with, at least, one automatic activation switch controlled by some temperature and humidity sensors for the regulation of the flow and/or throughput of said renewal air. The windows with retractable output closures are placed in the top plenum and are activated using over-pressure.
