Abstract

The subject of the invention is large buoys that are raised by the crests of waves. These buoys are connected by cables which are brought ashore: when the buoys pull the cable, it turns a flywheel which raises counterweights which move escapement wheels which, by means of a chain, cause a pinion to rotate which is coupled to the large flywheel.As the system drives the large flywheel with sufficient velocity, energy is produced by its shaft to drive a generator and produce electricity.
