Abstract

Procedure for the spontaneous resolution by direct crystallisation of racemic compounds. The procedure for the spontaneous resolution by direct crystallisation of racemic compounds consists of a technique through which the racemic compounds that normally cannot spontaneously crystallise at its two enantiomers, can do so without difficulty. The basis of this procedure is the mass transfer, by capillary action, in a porous medium that provides the appropriate conditions so that a solution of these compounds crystallise in its enantiomer phases. This avoids the traditional techniques that require biological treatments or chiral media, allowing, with our procedure, achievement of a resolution of the racemic compounds in its two enantiomer phases for industrially leveraging its peculiar physiochemical properties, in a quick, economical and easy manner.
