Abstract

Una carcasa (11) para recibir y retener un trozo sobrante de fibra óptica (33), la cual comprende dos elementos de soporte generalmente planos (12a, 12b) que tienen unos correspondientes rebordes periféricos (19) que entran en contacto entre sí en el perímetro de la carcasa, y medios de sujeción (24, 25, 26, 27) que mantienen los dos elementos de soporte (12a, 12b) unidos entre sí en un punto apartado de los rebordes, caracterizada porque al menos uno de los elementos de soporte tiene elasticidad suficiente, al menos en el reborde (19) o en la región próxima al mismo, para que se flexione y permita que la fibra óptica (32, 33, 34) sea introducida en o extraída de la carcasa (11) por medio de presión, haciéndola pasar entre los dos rebordes en contacto de los dos elementos de soporte que se encuentran unidos entre sí.
