Pieza artificial para la construcción de diques, muelles y riberas de baja reflectividad. Ha sido especialmente diseñada para reducir los efectos no deseables derivados de la reflexión de las olas en los paramentos de las obras marítimas, lagunares y fluviales. Su volumen está configurado dentro de un bloque de forma paralelepipédica de tamaño variable que mantiene las relaciones entre los lados: 1,5 (altura), 2,0 (anchura) y 4,0 (longitud), en el que destacan tres zonas bien diferenciadas: la zona posterior que con la unión de otras unidades configurará el muro de contención de los terrenos posteriores formando una pared continua; la zona anterior, que presenta un núcleo de paramento frontal liso, dos alas superiores y un diafragma ataluzado en su parte posterior; y, finalmente, la zona intermedia, que se conforma como una viga de unión entre las dos zonas anteriores y que, por su menor sección transversal dará lugar a la formación de la cámara interior de tranquilización. La pieza disponede cuatro anillas de suspensión y cuenta con medios de interconexión para el trabado y colocación de las diferentes piezas yuxtapuestas.Artificial piece for the construction of dikes, docks and banks of low reflectivity.
