Abstract
Validador (2) que comprende una guía (4) a través de la cual un billete se desplaza ante un sensor óptico (14) que evalúa las características ópticas de una cara del billete; comprendiendo dicho sensor óptico (14) una lente (16), una pluralidad de emisores de radiación (30) y un receptor de radiación (32), teniendo dicha lente (16) una primera superficie (18) que es generalmente plana y una segunda superficie (2) que es convexa con dichas superficies (18, 20) definiendo un punto focal de dicha lente que está encarada hacia dicha superficie convexa (20), incluyendo dicha guía una abertura en la misma la cual recibe dicho sensor óptico con dicha superficie plana de dicha lente que forma parte de un límite de dicha guía (4), estando dichos emisores de radiación (30) y dicho receptor de radiación (32) agrupados muy cerca de dicho punto focal, e incluyendo un elemento escudo (34) que aísla dicho receptor (32) de la radiación directa de dichos emisores (30), alineando dicha lente (16) la radiación emitida por dichos emisores (30) para producir rayos paralelos de radiación para irradiar el billete a medida que pasa ante el sensor (4) y para enfocar la radiación reflejada de dicho billete que incide en dicha lente (16) en dicho receptor (32), estando formada dicha superficie convexa (20) de dicha lente (16) para dirigir la radiación reflejada por dicha superficie convexa (20) lejos de dicho receptor para reducir el ¿cross talk¿ entre dicho receptor (32) y dichos emisores (30).
