EN EL ANILLO EXTERIOR, EL ELASTOMERO ES UNA SERIE ANULAR DE BLOQUES INTERCONECTADOS CON UNA LONGITUD (L1) QUE TIENE UNA APERTURA CENTRAL DE RADIO (R2); UNA SERIE DE PERNOS DE PRESION COMPRIMEN AXIALMENTE LOS BLOQUES, EXPANDIENDO EL ANILLO TANTO HACIA AFUERA COMO HACIA ADENTRO.
