Abstract

The fabrication of e.g. wood particle tablets comprises drying of the particles, for removal of the tines prior to mixing with adhesive. The adhesive is of the urea formaldehyde type, powdered and injected, with solvent, hardening agent and additives. EMBODIMENT - The mix is sprayed on to e.g. a metal belt in layers for hot pressing with polymerisation of the adhesive. The resulting boards are then cooled and calibrated for use as raw material for animal meal also incorporating vegetable particles.
