Abstract

Dispositivo para análisis de compuestos volátiles. Se utiliza la técnica de microextracción en fase sólida (SPME), empleando una jeringa (3) que incluye su correspondiente aguja (2) y una fibra de material adsorbente (1) dispuesta en su interior y que puesta en comunicación con los compuestos volátiles de la muestra a analizar que está contenida previamente en un vial o recipiente (8), puede recogerse en el interior de la jeringa (3) y posteriormente ser inyectada en el cromatógrafo de gases (9) donde se analiza de la forma conocida. Acorde con la invención, se prevé una fina sonda de metal o material inerte, constituida por una cánula o conducto tubular rígido (10) que se remata en punta (11) para permitir su inserción en la muestra a analizar, siendo de poco diámetro para no deteriorar dicha muestra. En la porción extrema de la cánula, su pared incluye una pluralidad de orificios o ranuras (12) de paso de los volátiles de la muestra a la cámara interior (16). El resto de la cánula está ocupado por un tubo coaxial de guía (14) tendido entre dos obturadores (15) extremos, pudiendo pasar por dicho tubo guía (14) la aguja (2) de la jeringa. Después de que la fibra de material adsorbente (1) esté el tiempo requerido en contacto con los volátiles, se recoge en el interior de la aguja y puede ser así llevada directamente al cromatógrafo de gases para su análisis.
