Abstract

Un procedimiento para preparar sosa anhidra con una densidad aparente entre 1300 y 1600 kg/m 3 a partir de una composición que comprende un medio acuoso, carbonato sódico y, opcionalmente, bicarbonato sódico, procedimiento que se realiza, al menos parcialmente, en presencia adicional de 1 a 50 por ciento en peso, en relación al peso de la composición total, de como mínimo un disolvente orgánico miscible con agua para elevar el punto de ebullición de la composición por encima de la temperatura de transición del monohidrato de sosa en la mencionada composición, a presión atmosférica.
