Abstract

The system is designed to provide automatic thrust for bridges, in particular the spans (12) for the construction of bridges, a system in which the thrust system consists of hydraulic jacks (10) fixed at one end to a support (8) to which is attached the structure (deck) to be pushed and moved, while at the other end, the hydraulic jacks (10), and specifically their rods (10'), are hinged to a rocker arm (9) which, like the support (8), is anchored and slides alternatively with respect to a traction rod (1) mounted between two supports or end abutments, one in front and the other behind, all controlled by an electronic control system that produces the thrust cycles. The system is applicable either to thrusting pre-stressed concrete or metal or compound decks, the said decks being manipulated "in situ" in an installation or site established for the purpose behind the rear abutment, each deck being capable of being thrust forwards and with it, the whole of the bridge built at the time.
