Abstract

Prótesis de pared que estimula y modula el tejido conjuntivo, se integra al tejido y permite el depósito mesotelial, evitando adherencias y erosiones viscerales. Una prótesis implantable a usar en la cirugía abdominal y torácica, confeccionada en una lámina de bajo espesor. Uno de los lados de la lámina mantiene una estructura lineal continua no porosa, capaz de sustentar el crecimiento de células mesoteliales, que impiden la adherencia y fistulización de las vísceras. Por el otro lado de la prótesis, el material se confecciona mediante una estructura discontinua, con oquedades físicas, que estimulan y modulan la proliferación fibroblástica y el depósito de colágena, logrando la reparación definitiva del defecto a expensas del tejido conjuntivo. La prótesis se integra además completamente por ese lado, que al ser fabricado evitándose el exceso de material redundante, disminuye la posibilidad de anidamiento de gérmenes y de infección crónica.
