Abstract

Nuevo diseño para los vértices del rotor del motor rotativo Wankel. Consiste en modificar el actual diseño de los vértices del rotor con el fin de incrementar convenientemente las superficies laterales de los sellos en contacto con los gases. Este incremento será mayor en la superficie lateral que está situada en el sentido contrario al sentido de giro del rotor y menor en la superficie opuesta, con lo que se incrementa la presión de los gases sobre los sellos y consiguientemente la de estos sobre las superficies laterales de los surcos donde se alojan, consiguiéndose de esta forma mejorar la estanqueidad entre las cámaras de trabajo y reducir el desgaste de los sellos.New design for the vertices of the rotor of the Wankel rotary engine.
