Abstract

Un método para generar una visualización (2) en una pantalla de televisión o monitor (4), comprendiendo dicho método las etapas de: generar una primera visualización en pantalla (10) a través de un receptor de datos transmitidos (6) resultante del procesamiento y decodificación de datos digitales, incluyendo contenido de vídeo recibido desde una fuente remota; recibir una señal para congelar la visualización desde un medio de control manejable por el espectador; recibir una señal designando una porción (14) de la visualización desde un medio de control manejable por el espectador; e identificar y reprocesar los datos para la porción seleccionada (14) para generar una visualización en pantalla de la porción seleccionada a una escala designada, y caracterizado porque la porción de la visualización, cuando es seleccionada, es redimensionada para coincidir con la relación de apariencia de la visualización existente y la porción redimensionada es procesada utilizando uno o más algoritmos de procesado de imagen para realzar visualmente la porción seleccionada, seguido por la cartografía de los datos de la porción en un registro de imagen en el receptor previamente a la visualización de la citada porción.
