Abstract

Procedimiento para la eliminación y destrucción de nitrato del agua que consiste en dos procesos diferenciados, siendo uno de ellos de eliminación o retirada del nitrato del agua bruta, concentrándolo en una fracción de agua mucho menor, y una segunda etapa de destrucción que trata la fracción de agua bruta, transformando el nitrato disuelto en nitrato gas, constituyendo la primera etapa un intercambio iónico con resina específica para la eliminación del nitrato y el segundo configurándose como un proceso electroquímico con resina específica para la eliminación del nitrato, y el segundo configurándose como un proceso electroquímico con electrodos específicos.
