Procedimiento para la obtención de creatina o de monohidrato de creatina mediante reacción de sarcosinato de sodio o de potasio con cianamida a una temperatura de 20 hasta 150ºC y con un valor del pH de 7,0 hasta 14,0, caracterizado porque el ajuste del valor del pH se lleva a cabo con ácido carbónico.
