Abstract

Interior unit of an air conditioner that has a motor insulated from a heat exchange chamber. It consists of an outer framework, equipped with an exchanger for exchanging its heat with the air drawn from its interior, a fan to impel air from the outside into the inside of the chamber and discharge air from the chamber to the outside, and a motor to run the fan. The motor is lodged in a housing. The housing insulates the motor from the heat exchange chamber. In this way, the air cooled by the exchanger is not heated by the air generated by the motor, and this increases the cooling efficiency of the air conditioner.
