Abstract
Método y aparato de obtención de características físicas de monedas para su identificación, que comprende someter a las monedas a dos etapas de medición electromagnética consecutivas, definidas por una primera y una segunda parejas de bobinas, en una de dichas parejas las bobinas están conectadas de forma que se sumen sus campos magnéticos y en la otra de modo que se resten sus campos magnéticos, cuyas etapas proporcionan señales que son tratadas para la obtención de parámetros representativos de las monedas, caracterizado porque las cuatro bobinas están conectadas entre sí según una configuración en puente y porque se alimentan simultáneamente con al menos dos, y preferentemente tres, señales de frecuencias diferentes, obteniéndose simultáneamente en cada etapa, al paso de las monedas, dos señales del puente completo para cada frecuencia y otras dos señales del medio puente para la frecuencia más alta, siendo en cada caso una de las señales representativa de la variación de la componente inductiva y la otra representativa de la variación de la componente resistiva.
