Abstract
Se trata de un sistema de detección automática de incidentes de tráfico en entornos urbanos, particularmente aglomeraciones anormales de vehículos en las calles que confluyen en un cruce, y en función de esa información permite optimizar la prioridad y el tiempo de la secuencia de funcionamiento de los semáforos que lo controlan con el objeto de normalizar en el menor tiempo posible el tráfico en dicho cruce. Se compone básicamente de un Sistema (8) Central de Procesamiento de Datos SCP, de una Interfase (17) de Comunicaciones IC, de un Procesador (6) de Incidentes y Colas PIC, módulos (7) de Procesamiento de Imágenes de Video PIV, un módulo (18) para obtención del estado de los semáforos MES, Cámaras (5) de Televisión CCTV, y regulador (3) de estado de los semáforos.It is a system for automatic detection of traffic incidents in urban environments, particularly abnormal agglomerations of vehicles on the streets that converge at a junction, and based on this information, it allows optimizing the priority and timing of the operation sequence of traffic lights that control it in order to normalize the traffic in said crossing in the shortest possible time. It is basically composed of a Central System (8) SCP Data Processing System, an IC Communications Interface (17), an Incident Processor and PIC Queues Processor (PIV Video Image Processing Modules (7)), a module (18) for obtaining the status of MES traffic lights, CCTV Television Cameras (5), and traffic light status regulator (3).
