Abstract
Antena microstrip con perímetro fractal o prefractal. La presente invención se refiere a una antena microstrip (1) cuyo perímetro (5) es fractal o prefractal. La antena está formada por una superficie plana de un material conductor o superconductor (2) cuyo perímetro es fractal o prefractal, dispuesta paralelamente sobre un plano conductor o superconductor (3). Entre ambos planos se dispone una o varias capas de material dieléctrico (4). La forma de excitación de la antena puede ser cualquiera de las convencionales en este tipo de antenas, a saber por sonda coaxial, ranura o acoplo electromagnético. Estas antenas excitadas a ciertas frecuencias superiores a la de la primera resonancia presentan diagramas de radiación cuyo máximo está en la dirección perpendicular al plano que contiene la antena. A estas frecuencias la directividad de la antena es superior a la que se obtiene a la frecuencia de la primera resonancia.Microstrip antenna with fractal or prefractal perimeter. The present invention relates to a microstrip antenna (1) whose perimeter (5) is fractal or prefractal. The antenna is formed by a flat surface of a conductive or superconducting material (2) whose perimeter is fractal or prefractal, arranged parallel to a conductive or superconducting plane (3). Between both planes one or several layers of dielectric material (4) are arranged. The form of excitation of the antenna can be any of the conventional ones in this type of antennas, namely by coaxial probe, slot or electromagnetic coupling. These antennas excited at certain frequencies higher than the first resonance have radiation patterns whose maximum is in the direction perpendicular to the plane that contains the antenna. At these frequencies the directivity of the antenna is higher than that obtained at the frequency of the first resonance.
