Abstract
Infrared security and control device of wear of electric current capturing flats in railroad pantographs.A hole is drilled (5) in the pantograph (2) flat (4) so that the infrared beam (6) can be reflected from a source (8), which is connected by fiber optics to a terminal (1). The infrared beam (7) is received by an infrared receiver (9) and is guided to an amplifier (10) and also incorporates a comparator circuit (11) of the same tension level as the reflected infrared beam (7) and a security relay (12) that lights the bulb (13), which is the indicator of the high level of this excitation, or lights the other bulb (14), which indicates the level of wear of the flat (4).
