Abstract
Composición y método para el tratamiento del shock endotóxico y enfermedades inflamatorias y autoinmunes en mamíferos. Se describe la composición y uso de agentes terapéuticos que inhiben la producción de factor de necrosis tumoral e interleuquina 6, y que inducen elevados niveles de interleuquina 4 para el tratamiento del shock endotóxico y enfermedades inflamatorias y autoinmunes, respectivamente, en mamíferos. La composición incluye substancias tales como péptido intestinal vasoactivo, péptido activador de la adenilato ciclasa hipofisaria, sus respectivos fragmentos y derivados.Composition and method for the treatment of endotoxic shock and inflammatory and autoimmune diseases in mammals. The composition and use of therapeutic agents that inhibit the production of tumor necrosis factor and interleukin 6, and that induce elevated levels of interleukin 4 for the treatment of endotoxic shock and inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, respectively, in mammals, are described. The composition includes substances such as vasoactive intestinal peptide, pituitary adenylate cyclase activating peptide, their respective fragments and derivatives.
