Abstract
Transformación de residuos líquidos contaminados en una sustancia gelatinosa. Especialmente concebido para balsas de desecación de explotaciones mineras, industrias de tinte textil, almazaras, alpechines y otros, consiste en incorporar a la balsa un polímero hidrófilo, de alto poder de absorción de agua, de manera que en un corto periodo de tiempo, del orden de cinco a diez minutos, el polímero absorbe todo el agua contenida en el residuo líquido, adoptando dicho polímero las formas de pequeños gránulos y ofreciendo inmediatamente a continuación una amplia superficie de evaporación para el agua, que acelera dicho proceso de evaporación en una magnitud del orden de diez a veinte veces más rápida que con la desecación ambiental clásica.Transformation of contaminated liquid waste into a gelatinous substance.
