Abstract

The drawer walls (16) are movably attached to the appropriate edge of the drawer-base (74) so that they flap from a plane parallel with the base into an assembled positioned at right angles to the base and protrude upwards. The drawer walls are made of a double-walled metal plate upper piece (12) open on the underside. A bottom profiled piece (14) joined to the upper piece is inserted into the open underside to form an enclosed hollow section for each drawer side. The side of the bottom piece facing the drawer-base has a profiled arm resting against the end edge of the base's longitudinal edge. The profiled arm is joined to the part of the bottom profiled piece inserted into the upper profiled piece.
