Abstract

Procedimiento para evitar la deformación de tubos planos en la fabricación de radiadores para automóviles. Para evitar la deformación o colapsado de los tubos planos se procede actualmente a formar unos pequeños brazos ortogonales (9) en los extremos de los tubos (10), llegando a establecer contacto. Esto soluciona parcialmente el problema pero con ello se crea una pérdida de carga notable. Acorde con la invención, se consigue disminuir o incluso anular totalmente la pérdida de carga puesto que se procede primeramente a efectuar una pareja de cortes longitudinales (1) desfasados en ambas paredes planas del tubo (3), doblando simultáneamente hacia adentro una de las solapas triangulares (4) que se forman a un lado de dichos cortes respectivos (1) y preferentemente en lados opuestos, enfrentándose mutuamente para formar medios de tope. Después se procede a la soldadura y opcionalmente a enderezar las solapas triangulares (4) mediante un útil (11). La forma triangular de ambas solapas enfrentadas (4) origina una pequeña pérdida de carga, anulándose totalmente esta pérdida de carga si se procede ulteriormente al enderezado de todas las solapas triangulares (4).Procedure to avoid deformation of flat tubes in the manufacture of automobile radiators.
