Abstract

"Planta desaladora de agua salobre en general y agua de mar en particular". Comprende medios de captación (8) del agua salobre de aportación; medios de acondicionamiento físico y químico (10); una bomba (6); un dispositivo de desalación de membranas semipermeables (1) por ósmosis inversa, del cual sale una fracción de agua desalada (d) y otra de rechazo (r); al menos una bomba centrífuga multietapa (2) en funcionamiento inverso; al menos una turbina de tipo "Pelton" (3, 3''), en paralelo o en substitución respecto a la bomba centrifuga multietapa y acoplada a un respectivo alternador (4, 4''); un primer depósito elevado (5) conectado a la salida del agua de rechazo; y un segundo depósito elevado (5'') conectado a un depósito inferior (7''), dispuesto aguas abajo de la salida de agua desalada. Durante los periodos en que la energía eléctrica presenta un precio comparativamente bajo, el agua es elevada a los depósitos elevados, siendo el agua vertida desde éstos a dicha turbina "Pelton" en caso contrario.
