Abstract

The enhancement of the combustion of hydrocarbon fuel comprises combustion of an emulsion of water in liquid fuel containing the hydrocarbon fuel. The 5-20 per cent by volume water droplets content is at least 50 per cent of the above 10 micrometre fraction.
