Abstract

Aparato y procedimiento para la medida de volúmenes y composición corporal global y segmental en seres humanos, por medio de la medida de la impedancia eléctrica a varias frecuencias, determinado de este modo la relación entre volúmenes de agua intracelular y agua extracelular, el contenido de agua total y agua extracelular en cada segmento y el contenido de masa magra segmental. El aparato está compuesto de un ordenador (11) que controla una caja electrónica (12), alimentada a través de una fuente de alimentación (14) saliendo de dicha caja electrónica (12) varios electrodos (13) que se colocan en el cuerpo a investigar.
